Gosh, you just made my day. I've NEVER heard of that. *runs off to try it*
You know what, tofu is actually not that bad at all. I was always a sucker for french toast, and was delighted to find a vegan french toast recipe that uses tofu in replacement of eggs. It tastes exactly like my mom's special french toast...absolutely DELISH!!
I found the recipe at a Vegetarian Food Fair near my home town. The BEST EVENT EVER!! It just feels so good to be around ethical, compassionate people who are enlightened enough to care and take a stand for the health of not only their bodies...but the world as a whole.
You are doing a really great thing, remember that, no matter what anyone else says.
